It worked perfectly, and 365 days, and gets used every single day.I like good, hot coffee every morning. As a coffee drinker for over 20 years, I lived coffee machines more than I care to calculate. I've only done half the pot, and drink slowly. When the coffee, that the current warming, instead of a thermal carafe, this meant a stale, burnt coffee. I like the simple things are simple. I could tell you how to use this coffee machine ever heard of the instructions. (I do not browse through them just to be sure.) Nothing difficult here. I am a white model of Cuisinart DTC-975N Thermal Coffee Maker. If I would have certainly been the name of something like this could be improved by Cuisinart, I would say that is not from confrontation to guide the cover, the words - "open", "near" and "pour" - and white.
