I'll start by saying that I only have this Cuisinart DCC-1150 Thermal Coffee Maker
in the hands of a few days, and that all my previous coffee makers are the sub $ 20 race from the local store. On weekends I make 2-4 cups in the morning and I love them to enjoy a period of hours. However, the burner is usually destroyed the taste for the moment I came back for a second cup, and went to find a better solution.After reading a few reviews on this particular model I finally ordered one, and although I only used a few times now, I could not be happier. Some reviewers have stated that their coffee was cold, the car was difficult to fill, the beeps were loud, and slowly poured the pot. My experience is as follows
The filling is smaller than my previous coffee maker, and is on the right side of the machine. I am left handed and can still be easy to fill, though, thanks to the design of the plate over a glass jar that the head is tilted to empty. No problem.
The unit is very quiet, while the production of beer, rather than the second replaced.
When do I use 1-4 cups coffee, and I heat the pot with hot water to fill the coffee machine. If the coffee is finished beer, it is very hot. I will continue by saying that I have 1-4 cups at 4:30 pm and ended just 2 cups. When I returned at 10:30 hours to clean the pot before bed, I discovered that coffee was always hot and requires no warm-up I chose to drink. This situation is easily repeatable, and given that no writer involved with the first cup tastes as good as the last, even after 6 hours.
This car seems to be about the same speed as my coffee before, and I use the slower the 1-4 cup setting.
It has an area of a sewage plant, and came to me with a start. I can not taste any difference or not, so I can not comment on its effectiveness, but it's nice that as an option. It comes with a pair of filter paper to start, or you can simply recreate the metal filter, which is also included.It beeps a few times when its production of finished beer. The tone reminds me a wristwatch beeps except that a bit 'more difficult. It is not strong enough to be annoying, but I can easily hear when I'm in the next room watching TV or working on your PC. This lets me know when the coffee is ready for use, and I like it.
Some say that the pot slowly dropped into the cup. Real, but unless you pour the coffee into a combat zone, under fire, is 2 or 3 seconds longer really much difference? Again, no problem. No need to turn the lid and pour the pot as other products. Very nice.
All said and done, I am very satisfied with this product and I would buy again.
