The best coffee we have ever had long ago given up a Starbucks Barista with a thermal carafe. It was near perfection in almost 10 years. Even after a couple of trim pieces fell it remained a reliable performer. After several years of regular use, began the plate in the bottom of the glass carafe to break up a piece at a time. The Barista was good coffee, not just to keep the temperature as it was originally.

Earlier this year we despair that we would have to go back to purchase from authors who work for a couple months and then die. My wife, after hours of searching spotted this familiar face in the crowd. We booked in December and today arrived. To say it was worth the wait is an understatement. We know now that we have years of fresh, warm, reliable coffee to go. The only difference between this model and the original Starbucks is now a cone filter instead of a flat bottom. No big deal at all.

Footnote: "old familiar" Starbucks Barista worked through this morning, his retirement days. It is not that important, but the trash has salvaged parts of our beautiful new baby.When (and if), this machine is available again, click 'n' buy. You'll enjoy it!

The attractive stainless steel double wall carafe will keep your coffee hot for up to 4 hours. Traditional glass carafe coffeemakers tend to scorch the coffee since the carafe sits on a hot plate for hours. This significantly affects the flavor of your coffee, and increases energy usage in your home. The stainless carafe can be used as a serving pitcher for any hot or cold beverage. With the blue backlight liquid crystal display you can easily adjust setting with the push of a button. Delay brew up to 24 hours, or select instant brew. Digital clock timer in 12 or 24 hour increments. Audible beep at the end of the brewing process, and countdown timer lets you know how long the coffee has been in the carafe. Simply carry the water tank directly to the sink and fill up to 12 cups. No messy spills to contend with. Activated charcoal is charcoal that has been treated with oxygen to open up millions of tiny pores between the carbon atoms.
